Responsible Gambling

Last updated: February 1, 2026. Our commitment to promoting safer gambling and protecting our players.

1. Our Commitment

RichBid Ltd. is committed to promoting responsible gambling and protecting our players. We believe gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment, not a source of financial or emotional distress. As a licensed operator regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), we take our responsibility seriously and have implemented comprehensive measures to protect vulnerable individuals and promote safer gambling practices. This policy outlines the tools, resources, and procedures we have in place to help you stay in control of your gambling.

2. Player Protection Tools

RichBid provides the following tools to help you manage your gambling activity. All tools are available in your Account Settings: Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. Decreases take effect immediately. Increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period before taking effect, giving you time to reconsider. Loss Limits: Set maximum loss limits per day, week, or month. Once your limit is reached, you will not be able to place further bets until the period resets. Wager Limits: Set a maximum amount you can wager in a given period. This helps control overall betting activity regardless of wins or losses. Session Time Limits: Set a maximum session duration. You will receive an on-screen notification when your time limit is reached, showing your session duration and net result. Reality Checks: Receive periodic reminders during gameplay (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes) showing how long you have been playing and your session results. Cool-Off Periods: Take a break from gambling for a set period: - 24 hours - 7 days - 30 days During a cool-off period, you cannot log in, deposit, or play. You can still withdraw existing funds. Self-Exclusion: Exclude yourself from RichBid for a longer period: - 6 months - 1 year - 5 years - Permanent (irreversible) During self-exclusion, your account is closed and cannot be reopened. You will not receive any marketing communications. We will make reasonable efforts to prevent you from opening a new account.

3. Age Verification

Gambling is strictly for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction) to register and play at RichBid. Verification Process: We verify every player's age and identity through our KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This includes checking government-issued ID, proof of address, and cross-referencing against age verification databases. Underage Prevention: If we discover that a minor has registered an account: - The account will be immediately closed - All deposits will be returned to the source - Any winnings will be voided - The incident will be reported to the relevant regulatory authority Parental Controls: We recommend that parents and guardians use parental control software to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites. Tools include: - NetNanny (www.netnanny.com) - CyberPatrol (www.cyberpatrol.com) - GamBlock (www.gamblock.com) - specifically designed to block gambling sites

4. Recognizing Problem Gambling

Gambling becomes a problem when it negatively affects your life, relationships, finances, or mental health. Common signs include: - Spending more money or time gambling than you intended - Chasing losses - continuing to gamble to try to win back money - Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling - Neglecting work, family, or personal responsibilities - Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling - Lying to family or friends about gambling activity - Gambling to escape problems, stress, or negative feelings - Being unable to stop or reduce gambling despite wanting to - Feeling guilt or remorse after gambling sessions - Gambling with money needed for essential expenses (rent, bills, food) If you recognize any of these signs in yourself or someone you know, we strongly encourage you to use our player protection tools and seek help from the support organizations listed below.

5. Self-Assessment

Ask yourself these questions honestly: 1. Do you spend more time or money gambling than you planned? 2. Have you ever felt the need to bet more to get the same excitement? 3. Have you tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult? 4. Do you feel restless or irritable when you try to stop gambling? 5. Do you gamble to escape problems or relieve negative feelings? 6. After losing money, do you return to try to win it back? 7. Have you lied to family members or others to hide your gambling? 8. Have you jeopardized a relationship, job, or opportunity because of gambling? 9. Do you rely on others to provide money to relieve financial situations caused by gambling? If you answered "yes" to two or more of these questions, you may be at risk of problem gambling. Please consider setting limits on your account or reaching out to one of the support organizations below.
